B10 (Ottawa Rockets: Theo, Gurbaaz, Eric, Lyren) and G10 (Ottawa Aces: Mary, Keona, Ananya and Laetitia) teams representing the NCTA region at the 2023 Eastern Canadian U10 Team Championships presented by the OTA and Tennis Canada are having a blast 
at Sobey’s Stadium this weekend. Featuring 22 boys teams and 16 girls the event gathered a too U10 competitors in the Eastern Ontario, Quebec and beyond. Boys reached the semis and lost 2:3 to ACE Team Shelton. Girls are battling for the 5/6 spot. What a great experience for our U10 players led by volunteer coaches Heather McDonnell and Cameron Montgomery, who have done amazing job preparing those kids for the event, raising funds and coaching them throughout the competition that concludes with finals tomorrow. So great to see the team competition and our teams representing the region, doing well! Thank you so much to coaches Heather and Cameron, NCTA and OTA for their support as well as OTA Player Development Team Anissa, Kartik, David and Brian for great job organizing the events, making it so fun for the kids with addition of 1 ball tournament and everything they do for delivering a great and robust competitive structure in the province. Congratulations to all the participants, we are all very proud of each and every one of you!
