OTA Circuit U9, U10 Finale at RSC Saturday wrapped up a very successful and busy year for the young competitors in the Ottawa region. With over 11 OTA U9&U10 stops May to October, Ottawa Leaderboard race was exciting and saw a lot of great matches and fond memories. Lots of skill, positivity and excitement! With total 15 U9 competitors and 38 U10s, it was an indeed exciting year. Congratulations to all the Circuit competitors and thank you to those who were able to come for Finale! Players had a blast on court: skill development, competing and finished with Rush and Crash. Pizza is always a hit after some great tennis! 🙂
Thank you to RSC for hosting the event, coaches Pierre Tafelski, Dan Vila, Alex Harea for their help with organizing and running the event, as well as all the great work RSC coaching team does for junior development regionally. Shout out to Bridge Public House Abed Steenika and her staff for a beautifully decorated venue and catering. Finally, thank you to the OTA player Development Team: Kartik, Ziad, David and Brian for running U9 & U10 circuit and all the help with budget, swag, prizes and trophies; as well as all the hard work that goes weekly into running busiest competitive structure in the country.
